Financial Literacy

CCU Bank is continuously developing and providing various financial literacy programs to all Cambodian people so that they will have the knowledge and skills to make good financial decisions.

What is financial literacy?

  • Literally, financial literacy refers to the knowledge and skills needed to make vital financial decisions on the daily basis. To illustrate, people around the world are deciding on where to open a bank account, how to save for retirement, which mortgage to choose, and where to invest their money so on and so forth.

What is CCU Bank doing about this?

  • By understanding about the importance of the decision they make which can impact their finance profoundly, CCU Bank is currently actively participating in the literacy initiatives from Royal Government and National Bank of Cambodia. At the other hand, the Bank is currently crafting the programs to help both the customers and non-customers to have better knowledge and understanding of financial decision through Financial Competence Framework, tips on protecting online transaction from Phishing and Hacker, Financial Journey, and various financial planning and management tools.
