Pre-School Montessori<\/span><\/h1>[vc_column_text el_class=”text_content_blur”]At Herrington International School, we offer Montessori programmes to pre-schoolers (mainly aged 2 years to 6 years old). The Montessori method aims to educate the whole child.<\/span><\/p>\n

The classrooms are mixed ages because we believe that having a good balance of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 year olds creates an atmosphere where children will help each other. The older children gain confidence in being a leader to the younger children as they teach the younger ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Montessori\u2019s learning materials therefore introduce a wide range of concepts in a concrete way, which even the youngest child can understand. Our classrooms are developed for the child. Tables and chairs are child-size. Shelves are low and within reach of the children. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and are engaging to the young child. We have quiet areas, and areas that are busy with activity.
