Millie Jo De Silva
PE Teacher
Millie graduated from the University of Southampton Solent in 2021 with a degree in Sports Coaching and Development. Shortly after, she joined The Churchill School of English, where she engaged international students in sporting activities while helping them improve their English over the summer. Following this, Millie took on the role of Graduate Sports Coach at The King’s School Canterbury in Kent, where she spent two years teaching sports and providing pastoral care for boarding students.
Millie is passionate about supporting young children and helping them thrive through physical activity, believing it’s a great way to relieve stress and foster growth outside the classroom. She is dedicated to advancing professional development in physical activity within schools.
Outside of her teaching career, Millie enjoys staying active through hockey, netball, and running. She also loves traveling, exploring different cultures, and spending quality time with family and friends. Millie is excited to join The King’s School Vattanacville and looks forward to making a positive impact on the sporting community in Phnom Penh.
